* She thinks homework is necessary, even in primary grades. Why? "Homework should provide students with an opportunity to practice what they ALREADY KNOW, as a way to get really, really good at it."
* Homework should be quick & efficient, consistent but not boring
* So what does she give as homework for kindergarteners? Reading Bags - Decodable Books, Letter Flashcards etc. "I really want my students to practice letter names and sounds as often as possible."

* Have "homework" where kids practice the letter they learned that day with their DAD in the evening!
