Free French Resources for Orange Shirt Day:
La Journée du Chandail Orange
For my fellow Americans, Orange Shirt Day is a Canadian commemoration also known as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. It honors the Indigenous children who attended residential schools and were lost, and supports the survivors and their families. The day's core message is "Every Child Matters," symbolized by wearing an orange shirt to show support for reconciliation and to remember the lasting impacts of the residential school system.
